DIRECTIONS TO THE KRUGER PARK LODGE, HAZYVIEW FROM JOHANNESBURG. (Approximately 4 hours without a stop.)
Get onto the AIRPORT HIGHWAY R24 and head towards Boksburg, or go from Gillooly’s interchange onto BOKSBURG HIGHWAY R21.
Once on the Boksburg/Benoni highway continue straight all the way to NELSPRUIT N4 toll road..
Shortly after the MACHADADORP TOLL GATE take the R40 NELSPRUIT VIA SCHOEMANSKLOOF.
Take the sign posted slip road to the left and continue on this road until the T Junction. Turn left back onto the N4 toll road to Nelspruit.
N4 road towards Nelspruit. Go STRAIGHT N4 MALALANE. (Do not veer left on 320 to Nelspruit/Barbeton).
- After 2 km, will see sign ‘NEXT NELSPRUIT EXIT 4 KM’.
- After 1 km sign ‘NELSPRUIT 3K, Malelane 60km, Maputo 200km”
- After 1 km turn LEFT on to R37/R40 TO WHITE RIVER MASHISHING.
- Right at stop street to R37/R40 to NELSPRUIT/WHITE RIVER.
- Continue going straight on R37 to NELSPRUIT
- At next circle turn LEFT to Nelspruit.
The circles will lead you toward the shopping area of Nelspruit.
At 2nd traffic light, turn left onto the main road – MADIBA DRIVE.
Travel straight toward White River for at least 30 minutes.
Continue to WHITE RIVER, for about 60 kms. (Pass Spur on Right.)
Once you enter town of White River, take the slip road left into DANIE JOUBERT RD (Toyota Dealership on corner)
At the FIRST traffic light, turn RIGHT into TOM LAWRENCE Rd.
At the 2nd traffic light, take the slip road left into THEO KLEYNHANS Rd and travel onto the R40 HAZYVIEW/PHALABORWA for about 43 kms.
DO NOT TAKE R538 TO NUMBI GATE even though it says Kruger National Park and Hazyview. *** CONTINUE ONLY ON THE R40. ***
Continue straight all the way on the R40 until the 4 way stop.
Turn LEFT onto R40 PHALABORWA/WHITE RIVER Rd. Straight for about 2km.
Turn RIGHT at second traffic light (just after the overhead pedestrian bridge), into PORTIA SHABANGU DRIVE.
Straight past circle. Approx 800m from circle, turn left into the KRUGER PARK LODGE.
Drive to the security gate, and proceed directly to the reception area where you will check in and collect your keys. The friendly receptionist will direct you to the chalet.
There is a carport directly outside of the chalet.
